2024-2025 Student-Athlete Scholarship Match
80% of Crimson Tide Teams Advanced to Post-Season Competitions
Of Alabama’s 21 teams, 17 advanced to their respective national postseason competitions. A total of 16 Crimson Tide teams finished the year ranked nationally, with seven ending among the top 15 in the respective sport’s final rankings.
Program-Best Combined Grade Point Average
Alabama student-athletes reached the highest combined grade point average of all time, earning a combined GPA of 3.501. With that, 98 Crimson Tide student-athletes received a diploma at spring commencement, bringing the total number of 2024 25 student-athlete graduates to 178.
Graduation Success Rate of 96%
UA posted an all-time high overall Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 96 percent, improving one point from last year's mark. With that, Alabama finished tied for tops among NCAA Power Five public institutions (tied with Clemson, Louisville, Michigan and Virginia) as well as the Southeastern Conference (tied with Vanderbilt).
Alabama Student-Athletes Making History in the Draft
For the first time in program history, three women’s basketball players were selected in the WNBA Draft, highlighted by Sarah Ashlee Barker’s No. 9 overall pick. She was joined by Aaliyah Nye (No. 13 overall, second round) and Zaay Green (No. 32 overall, third round) as this year’s draftees.
A total of seven football players were selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, including two in the first round. With this year’s selections Alabama has produced 140 draft picks since 2009, the most by any college football program during that span.
