Logistics Executive, Storyteller

img

Andrea Laliberte is a former logistics executive with demonstrated success in logistics planning and execution to meet customer needs in a complex international retail environment. She was the Edenfield Executive in Residence and Professor of the Practice in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Previously, she was senior vice president of distribution and consumer service for Coach Inc., a leading marketer of modern classic American accessories.

Most recently, her leadership brought to fruition the Pathway of Progress installation on campus, which honors decades of achievements by Georgia Tech women.

Pathway of Progress

Celebrating Georgia Tech Women

Laliberte returned to campus in 2013 as the Edenfield Executive-in-Residence at ISyE. She joined several Georgia Tech boards and chaired the Alumni Association in 2016-17.

Inspired by the many accomplished alumnae she met, she recognized a lack of visibility for women’s achievements on campus. Realizing their experiences often mirrored her own from decades earlier, she proposed a solution: a public, visually compelling structure near the John Lewis Student Center to celebrate and share the history of Georgia Tech’s women.
