Chazadi “Chit‑Chat” Wright is a 5'4" guard from Atlanta, Georgia, and a sophomore at the University of Iowa, where she plays for the Hawkeye women’s basketball team. She transferred from Georgia Tech after a strong freshman season, during which she played in all 33 games and averaged 7.2 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.2 rebounds. Known for her quickness and court vision, Wright made 12 starts and had standout performances against top-ranked opponents, including Notre Dame and Nebraska.

A four-star recruit out of Wesleyan School, Wright scored over 1,000 points in her high school career and was twice named all-state. She also excelled in track, helping lead her team to a state title. Off the court, she’s majoring in business administration. Her nickname, “Chit‑Chat,” is a nod to her AAU days—ironically earned as the quieter twin on her team.
