Sophomore (RS) | Guard | Atlanta, GA
Erica Moon is a 5'6" redshirt-sophomore guard from Atlanta, Georgia, joining the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets after a strong debut at Texas A&M. In her first season, she appeared in 29 games (seven starts), averaging 16.5 minutes on the court. Highlights include a season-high 24 minutes against Arkansas—where she posted five rebounds, four assists, and knocked down a three-pointer—along with impactful performances against Tennessee. A cerebral playmaker, Moon excels at running the offense, breaking down defenses, and setting up her teammates.
A decorated four-star recruit from St. Francis High School, she was ranked No. 76 nationally by ESPN HoopGurlz and earned All-State second-team honors in 2022 after leading her team to a 25-4 record and unbeaten regional play. Despite redshirting her true freshman year due to injury, she bounced back to earn SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition and will bring three years of eligibility, leadership, and defensive tenacity to Georgia Tech.
