Unprecedented Momentum,

UNMATCHED VISION

For more than a century, the University of Florida College of Pharmacy has trained the pharmacists, scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators of tomorrow. The college has shaped lifelong learners and led advancements in pharmacotherapy, personalized medicine, and drug discovery and development that have evolved into real-world clinical innovations to improve patient care and human health.

The momentum that started over a century ago in Gainesville has continued through the addition of campuses in Jacksonville and Orlando and fueled the college’s steady ascent up the national rankings over the last decade. In 2024, the college attained its best-ever position in the U.S. News & World Report list of leading pharmacy colleges, climbing to No. 4 in the country and becoming the highest-ranked of all 16 UF colleges. There is no other time in our history where the college has been better positioned as a national leader in pharmacy education and research.

DRIVING MOMENTUM

This sustained growth trajectory has led the college to a critical inflection point. Instead of being counted among the nation’s best, we aspire to become America’s top pharmacy college. However, the move from No. 4 to No. 1 requires something truly transformational — a catalytic, $50M naming gift that will accelerate UF Pharmacy’s strategic priorities and close the gap between the college’s current endowment and the top three programs. To reach the pinnacle, college leadership has identified three transformative pillars that will guide our continued evolution as the University of Florida Phillip & Patricia Frost College of Pharmacy.

It is only appropriate that we share this vision with you now. Your partnership will ignite a brighter future for our faculty and students, and your own unique experience will light the way for pharmacy’s next generation. From the invaluable support of faculty like Leslie Hendeles and Mel Rubin, to your education in the science of medicine that helped you focus on novel opportunities in academia, clinical practice, and business — we seek to bring this life-changing experience to all UF pharmacy students.
