The Georgia Tech Swim Club has proudly represented the Georgia Institute of Technology since the fall of 1995. First founded as a response to the lack of a women’s varsity team, the club quickly grew to include men as well. In the decades since the Yellow Jackets have consistently pushed boundaries in the world of college club swimming. GTSC founded and hosted the first three National Championships, the largest independently operated meet in American swimming for much of its existence. GTSC has won 3 CCS National Championships in the last 6 years and placed 4th in the 2024 competition.
Dick Bergmark is a GT and GT Swim and Dive Alum who established a working relationship with Georgia Tech Swim Club after meeting some of their members at the 2023 Tahoe Swim Relay. In an effort to help the team get to nationals in Arizona this year, we are working with Mr. Bergmark who have generously agreed to match individual donations up to $250 for a total of $10,000.
