Greg Hulett founded Mid South in 1986, originally named Hulett Service Company, as a small machinery repair service.


From one employee and one service truck, Mid South has grown to 100+ employees occupying more than 100,000 sq./ft. of workspace at 3 locations. The company's business model is based on controlling processes, costs, and schedule has led them into several acquisitions over the years, allowing them to grow into a nationally recognized supplier through hard work and a can-do attitude.

Leadership

Since 1998-2010 and 2014-present, Greg Hulett has served as a city councilman and mayor pro-tem of White Oak, Texas.



Hulett has also served on the Windward Owners Association Board of Directors from 2010-2013 on Perdido Key.



He currently serves as Treasurer on the San Perdido Owners Association Board of Directors.



Hulett has also worked with several local economic development and non-profit groups in East Texas.

Family First

Hulett is married to Karen Hulett since 1988, and they have three children. He enjoys spending time in Perdido Key with his wife and their children, and his 6 grandchildren.


An avid boater and offshore angler, he enjoys classic and antique cars and loves to travel and seek new adventure.
