What is this fundraising campaign all about?
The campaign is part of the Henry Ford College Foundation's annual fundraising initiative to ensure that HFC and its students become what society demands: a cutting-edge institution with increased access to education, innovative economic and workforce development opportunities, and a global impact and solutions-focused body that can continue to fulfill its historic mission of education to this community and society.
How much am I required to give?
A minimum of $5 per pay is suggested if given through payroll deduction. Otherwise, give whatever amount makes you feel good about your donation.
I already work here, so why should I give?
Support from faculty and staff—above and beyond your essential day-to-day duties as an employee—is a strong vote of confidence in HFC. That’s a powerful endorsement that can enhance our ability to garner support (financial and otherwise) from potential supporters outside the college.
What are the tax benefits of giving to HFC?
Your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. You will receive a receipt for each gift.
Can I choose where I want my money to go?
Absolutely! The choice is yours. Select one of the colleges or programs on the pledge form, and if you don’t see what you are looking for, you can write it in the area where it says “Other.” 100% of your gift will go to the location you designate. We are HFC.
Why is it important that I participate?
Your participation demonstrates—to students, their parents, alumni, friends, other donors, public officials, and others who support the college —that HFC faculty and staff believe wholeheartedly in HFC’s mission and the power of higher education. We are HFC. We can’t achieve success without you.
I don’t get paid enough to make a gift.
A simple $10 monthly gift through payroll deduction could become $120! $20 becomes $240, and so on. Faculty and staff giving plays a role in academic rankings and the college’s overall reputation. Collectivity: We are HFC. We are stronger by giving.
I have already made a gift this year.

Our Mission
