Talayah Walker is a 5'10" sophomore guard from Odenton, Maryland, now playing for Georgia Tech under head coach Karen Blair. She transferred from Penn State, where she appeared in 29 games as a freshman, averaging 5.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in just over 15 minutes per game. Walker recorded eight double-digit scoring efforts, including a pair of 18-point performances, and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds in a breakout game against UCLA. Known for her toughness, energy, and rebounding ability, she finished second on the team in offensive boards and shot nearly 78% from the free-throw line.

A product of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Walker was a three-time All-WCAC first-team honoree, averaging 19.0 points and 6.1 rebounds as a senior. She played club basketball for Philly Rise, helping lead the team to back-to-back Nike national championships and earning MVP honors at the Boo Williams Invitational. With three years of eligibility remaining, Walker brings athleticism, scoring ability, and a competitive edge to Georgia Tech’s backcourt.
