Bianca Bertolino, a standout athlete in collegiate volleyball, has earned accolades for her exceptional performance on the court. In 2024, she started all 31 matches for Tech and saw action in all 119 sets. Bianca finished her senior season totaling 415 kills (3.48 kills/set), 50 assists, 59 service aces, 334 digs, five solo blocks, and 32 block assists, surpassing Julia Bergmann’s modern scoring record for service aces (164) after posting three against Boston College (11/17). Finished second on the team for kills (415). She capped her collegiate career with 18 double-doubles, 35 overall, and recorded a career-high 25 kills in round one of the NCAA Tournament against Tennessee. She was named to the All-ACC Second Team thanks to her spectacular performance throughout the season.
In her freshman year, Bianca made an immediate impact, earning a spot on the ACC All-Freshman Team. Leading the league with five ACC Freshman of the Week honors, she started in all 32 matches, playing 112 sets. Bianca ranked second on the team in digs (327) and aces (25) while being third in kills (286). Noteworthy achievements include a career-high 21 kills in a win over Long Beach State and a career-high 21 digs against Notre Dame. With 10 double doubles and success on serve receive, Bianca played a pivotal role in the team's success, contributing to historic wins over ranked opponents.
