DeAndra Pierce, a standout athlete, played a significant role as a true freshman in a memorable match against Texas Tech on 11/26. A two-time All-District player for Austin High School, she earned recognition on the AVCA High School All-Region teams after an outstanding senior season. Brionna's impressive stats include 68 kills and 29 total blocks, with 22 solo blocks in 41 sets, showcasing her prowess on the court. Heading into the 2020 season, she was named an AVCA Elite Rising Senior and featured on the Under Armour All-American watch list. In 2019, she was honored as the District 26-6A Newcomer of the Year. Brionna, the daughter of Darrell and Denise Pierce, has two sisters, Daniellie and Darolyn. Denise, her mother, is an alumna of the University of Texas School of Law.
