Kara Dunn, an accomplished athlete, earned All-ACC Second Team honors and distinguished herself as ACC Player of the Week (Dec. 11). Despite facing an early-season injury setback, she showcased remarkable resilience, returning to action and delivering stellar performances. Dunn's standout moments include a career-high 39 points against Georgia State, becoming the first Jacket since 1999 to achieve such a feat. Throughout the season, she consistently demonstrated her scoring prowess, recording multiple 20-plus point games and notching a remarkable 31-point game against No. 6 NC State.

With an impressive scoring average of 15.5 points per game, Dunn showcased her versatility and impact on the court, contributing not only through scoring but also through rebounds, assists, and steals. Her season highlights include leading her team in points and rebounds against formidable opponents like No. 20 Louisville and Wake Forest. In addition to her offensive prowess, Dunn displayed defensive acumen, evidenced by her career-high five steals against Virginia. As a resilient and dynamic player, Dunn's contributions were pivotal in guiding her team through the ACC Tournament and the WBIT, cementing her legacy as a formidable presence in collegiate basketball.
