Biography

Roswell, Ga.

Reese Hunter, a standout athlete, made a significant impact during her freshman season at Georgia Tech, appearing in all 27 games and starting in 24. As the team's catcher for most outings, she showcased her prowess with a .219 batting average, including 14 hits, a double, and three home runs. Notably, Hunter played a pivotal role in securing Tech's upset of No. 18 Auburn with a walk-off solo home run on March 8. Her defensive skills were equally impressive, as she caught multiple Tigers attempting to steal and earned recognition for her contributions to the team's success.

As a Sophomore, she appeared in 53 games, with 39 hits and 20 runs scored and 31 RBIs. She also flashed her power with 9 Home Runs on the year. On defense, she showed off a stellar glove a powerful arm with 233 put-outs in 253 chances, and 17 assists.
