Running a Campaign With iFOLIO
In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, running a successful marketing campaign is more than just a checkbox on your to-do list—it's a dynamic process that involves strategy, creativity, and execution.
Using the right software streamlines the campaign process and helps to improve results. Here’s how you can run successful marketing campaigns using iFOLIO.
Prepare Your Campaign List
Before you send a campaign, it’s important to have a list of contacts that you wish to send it to. There are plenty of ways to gather contacts, including lead-generation landing pages, RSVP forms, social media, networking, and more. A quality lead list is just as important to campaign success as your campaign content itself. For even better results, segment your list based on data you have collected to dial in your targeting and tailor content to recipients.
Building Your Campaign iFOLIO
The first step in sending an effective campaign is building your Campaign iFOLIO. To get started, you’ll choose a pre-built starting template, then, using the easy-to-use editor, customize your campaign page with branding, copy, media, and any other content you want to include. Once you're satisfied, publish your iFOLIO and check the box for “campaign library”.

Setting Up Your Campaign
iFOLIO is designed to make running campaigns as easy as possible by enabling users to build, send, and measure your campaigns in one flow. After building your campaign iFOLIO, there is a simple 3-step process to send or schedule your campaign.
1. Choose Your iFOLIO and Pick a Time to Send
In the campaign dashboard, you simply select your new campaign iFOLIO from the slider menu and name the campaign. Once you’ve done that, the date-picker widget makes it easy to select a date and a time for your campaign send. You can also choose to “Schedule Now” if you want to send it right away after completing step 3.
2. Build Your Visual Email and/or Visual Text Message
iFOLIO campaigns can be sent via either Email or Text Message. In Step 2 of the campaign flow, you’ll be able to customize the appearance and content of your email or text message using the simple visual editors. You can learn more about the Visual Email Editor or Visual Text Message Editor from the support page. It is highly recommended to use the “Test By Sending To Yourself” function included in this step to double-check your campaign content and appearance.
3. Adding Your Campaign List
Here in the last step, you can download the formatted list template. If you don’t already have a formatted list, you’ll need to add your contacts into the template to properly format the list for an iFOLIO Campaign send (don’t worry, it’s really easy). If you already have a formatted list, you can upload it or choose from a previously saved list. Once your list is uploaded, you’re good to go to hit send! iFOLIO will send your campaign immediately if you chose to “Schedule Now” in step 1, or will automatically send at your desired time if you scheduled for a future send.
Measure Your Campaign With Analytics
Running a campaign doesn’t end when you hit send. Monitoring campaign analytics and measuring success is a very important part of the process for a variety of reasons. iFOLIO offers comprehensive, real-time analytics built to create value and drive growth for your business.
Using iFOLIO's Campaign Analytics, You Can:
• Understand Campaign Deliverability & Engagement
Bounce Rates, Open Rates, iFOLIO Opens, Click-Throughs, & show you whether or not your campaigns are reaching your contacts and whether they’re engaging with the content.
• Understand Areas of Interest with Heatmaps
Patented Heatmaps help show you which areas on your page attract the most attention. Areas of the page with the most time-spent will show as “Hot” with a red color on the scrollmap, while portions that viewers scrolled past will show up as blue. You can use this information to optimize future content.
• Monitor Customer Journeys and Optimize Follow Ups
Using iFOLIO’s shared stats, you can see statistics for individual recipients. See how many times a prospect visited your iFOLIO, how long their sessions were, and click on an individual session to see an individual scroll map of their interest. You can use this information to clean up your campaign list, and tailor follow-ups to meet individual needs. You can even follow up easily right from the dashboard.

Segment Your List: Segmenting your list is always good practice because it allows you to adjust your message to better resonate with your audience. Sending different iterations of your campaign to different segments with tailored messaging leads to higher engagement and increased ROI.
Personalize: Adding a personal touch to your campaigns is a great way to increase prospect engagement and get more conversions. iFOLIO campaign sends can be personalized easily in the message editor. You can also deliver Unique Digital Experiences with iFOLIO PURL (Personalized URL) Campaigns that update content based on field attributes and your campaign list.
Add On-Brand Media: Visual Emails or Visual Text Messages allow you to reinforce your brand with custom media. Easily upload your on-brand content using the media library. Different members of your organization can have access to the same brand content in organizational media libraries to maintain brand consistency.
Test: Before You Send a Campaign, it’s highly recommended to test by sending to yourself. A test send allows you to put yourself in the shoes of a recipient and helps to catch any mistakes or make minor adjustments to improve the clarity of your message or the appearance of your content. You can also choose to send a test campaign using a small test list to ensure campaign deliverability and make sure that your real campaign list is formatted properly.
